FRIDAY BEYOND SPOTLIGHTS – EP3 Teresa Cheng

Episode #3 is hosted by lawyer and law-maker Mr. Nick Chan, MH, JP, and The Honourable Teresa Cheng Yeuk-wah SJ, GBM, GBS, SC JP, Secretary for Justice of Hong Kong SAR who will share her career transformations and her secrets for success in taking on new challenges. A leader in the legal sector, Cheng will also share the city’s unique strength as a leading international legal services, deal-making and dispute resolution hub and how Hong Kong will grow from strength to strength under the One Country, Two Systems regime beyond 2047. The Honorable Teresa Cheng SJ was already a Senior Counsel before joining the Government and she is also qualified as a chartered engineer and chartered arbitrator. Elected as the fjrst Asian woman in global election as President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Cheng was one of the founders and Chairman of the Asian Academy of International Law.

The weekly programme airs at 8:30 pm every Friday and replays at 10:30 am every Sunday (Hong Kong Time). The programme is hosted by Mr Patrick Tsang On-yip and Mr Nick Chan Hiu-fung, invites leading minds and game changers in Hong Kong to share their views and insights on topical issues, and their experience in grasping opportunities and tackling challenges.
